April-may 2019: water quality in Seleznevka and Sestra rivers

The results of the latest hydrological and hydrochemical studies are available now on the website of Roshydromet. There were no cases of high and extremely high water pollution in the waters of Seleznevka and Sestra rivers.

Oxygen regime with the exception of one sample, hydrogen pH, phosphate content of phosphorus did not exceed the maximum permissible concentration (MPC). The content of metals in both rivers was increased: aluminum, iron, copper and zinc. The manganese concentration was exceeded in Sestra river.
